Baku – APA. Baltimore police have arrested about 34 people and six officers were hurt when protests over the death in custody of a young black man turned violent, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti.
"Approximately 34 people were arrested and six officers suffered minor injuries", said Baltimore police.
Earlier, a dozen people were arrested after a protest over the death of Freddie Gray.
Freddie Gray, 25, was arrested in Baltimore on April 12 and placed in the back of a police van. Upon arrival at the police station it was discovered he was suffering from a severe spinal injury, of which he died a week later.
