The United States has extended Iran sanctions freeze until July 10, TASS Russia news agency reported.

In addition, the duration of the interim agreement between Iran and the P5+1 group (the five permanent UN Security Council members and Germany) has been extended until July 10.

Earlier, a similar decision on the extension was made on June 30, and it expired on July 7.

The US State Department also reported that the US Secretary of State will stay in Vienna for the continuation of negotiations.

Representatives from Iran and the P5+1 – the US, Russia, China, Britain, France, and Germany – are engaged in intense negotiations in the Austrian capital of Vienna to reach an agreement with Iran over its nuclear program.

The two sides extended their self-imposed end-of-June deadline for a comprehensive deal to July 7, however a source close to Iranian nuclear negotiating team said that the final deadline for the Iran-P5+1 nuclear talks is extended again till July 9.
