The Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) has not imposed any ban on transportation of notebooks, the airline’s press service told Trend July 27.
AZAL press service further said that for security reasons, it is needed to turn off all the electronic devices of passengers on board the planes.
The airline said the security control at international airports of Azerbaijan is carried out in line with national legislation.
Under the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), while passing the inspection at airports it is needed to get electronic devices, including laptops, out of hand luggage and put them separately into a scanner, according to AZAL.
“The safety inspection at international airports of Azerbaijan is carried out in strict accordance with national laws,” the airline added.
