The National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told APA that the average monthly temperature will be close to the climate norm and above normal in some places in August.
The monthly precipitation will be close to the climate norm, while a little high in some areas.
The average monthly temperature in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is predicted to be 25…27 C (22…27 C at nights, 30…35 C during daytimes, and sometimes even 38…41 C during the first half of August). This figure is close to the climate norm and 1 C above normal.
The monthly precipitation will be close to the climate norm (6-8 mm).
