Baku – APA. A petition on appointment of Mikheil Saakashvili as Ukraine’s prime minister has been posted on the website of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko’s press office, the news agency InterPressNews reported.
According to the petition, Saakashvili would carry out reforms and fight against corruption in Ukraine more efficiently in the prime minister’s capacity.
1175 people have supported the initiative so far. 25 000 signatures are needed for the government to consider the proposal.
The petition was posted on the website on September 1. It will remain posted for 90 days.
