Azerbaijani boxers will vie for medals at the World Championship in Doha, Qatar.
Azerbaijan`s hopes will be pinned on Rufat Huseynov at 49, Elvin Mamishzade at 52kg, Tayfur Aliyev at 56kg, Albert Salimov at 60kg, Lorenzo Sotomayor at 64kg, Parviz Bagirov at 69kg, Teymur Mammadov at 81kg, and Abdulgadir Abdullayev at 91kg.
The tournament will offer 23 spots to the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics.
