Azerbaijan`s Minister of Energy Natig Aliyev has met CEO and Managing Director Pakistan State Oil Company Sheikh Imran ul Haque. They discussed issues on signing a memorandum of understanding between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Government of Pakistan.
The Minister said Azerbaijan was ready to support the development of cooperation with Pakistan in energy field.
On ties between the two countries, the Minister said it was mutual respect and support that lie at the heart of our ties. Mr. Aliyev said there were wide opportunities for cooperation in the energy field.
The Pakistani delegation was also informed about the successful activity of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan in Turkey, Switzerland, Ukraine, and Romania.
Sheikh Imran ul Haque, in turn, stressed the importance of signing the agreement for realizing the projects.
