“ISESCO remains committed to its principles. Nagorno-Karabakh is an integral part of Azerbaijan. On behalf of all the member countries I declare that we are on Azerbaijan’s side and its occupied territories must be returned,” Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), has told journalists in Baku.
He described Armenia`s moves as contradicting the international law. “We state on behalf of all the member countries, the occupation must be immediately ended.” “UN adopted four resolutions and they haven’t been implemented. As an organization we should bring it the global attention that Armenia’s actions are against the international law. UN Security Council resolutions must immediately be implemented,” he added.
