Baku, November 30 AZERTAC
State Committee on Work with Religious Organizations, jointly with European Muslim Initiative for Social Cohesion will hold international conference on “Tolerance and cohabitation models: Azerbaijan`s model for new Europe” in Brussels, Belgium.
The event will bring together heads of NGOs, members of European Parliament, representatives of Western Research Centres.
An Azerbaijani delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Committee Sayyad Salahli will join the event. The delegation included MPs, Chairman of the Religious Community of Mountain Jews in Baku Milikh Yevdayev, Secretary of Baku and Azerbaijan Eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church Elnur Afandiyev.
The conference aims to introduce Azerbaijan to world community as historical place connecting civilizations and religions, promote religious policy of the country, tolerance and multicultural values of people in international arena.
