The Azerbaijani Parliamentary Committee is discussing a bill Dec. 2. According to this bill, the security forces are allowed to cause harm to health, life and cause damage to the property of the extremists during the special operations.
The bill "On combating religious extremism" is being considered at a joint meeting of the Committee on Legal Policy and State Building and the Committee for Public Associations and Religious Organizations of the Azerbaijani parliament.
According to the bill, the individuals, engaged in religious extremist activity, will bear criminal, administrative and civil liability.
The bill will be submitted to the Azerbaijani parliament later.
