The participants of the “New Armenia” Public Salvation Front march against constitutional amendments have reached the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) building. They are demanding that the CEC cancel the constitutional amendments, as well as the resignation of President Serzh Sargsyan and CEC President Tigran Mukuchyan, NEWS.am reported.
The building is completely surrounded by several rows of policemen with shields.
The CEC hadn’t been included in the route of the organizers. At the outset of the march, the police warned that the participants will be subjected to administrative liability in case of deviating form the notified route.
