Giorgi Abashishvili was appointed head of the Georgian presidential administration.
Earlier, he was an adviser on economic issues, Georgian President Georgi Margvelashvili’s decree said Dec. 4, Sputnik reported.
Abashishvili headed the Georgian presidential administration instead of David Pataraya, who left the position in accordance with the presidential decree.
Abashishvili has served as adviser to the Georgian president since May 2014.
