The chairmanship of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking Countries (TURKPA) passed from Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan at the sixth meeting of the Assembly in Astana, the organization's secretariat reported.
Speakers of the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and others attended the meeting.
The parties discussed the resulting document, the Astana Declaration and determined the place for the next TURKPA session.
