Despite enmities and hostile moves like sanctions, or isolation of Iran for years to present an insecure image of Iranian air space, Iranian sky is quite safe and many countries use Iranian air space due to its high security indice, said an official on Sunday, Irna reported.
'Based on the statistics related to August, 2014, the air traffic of Iran included 400 flights per 24 hours, which had increased to 900 flights in August, 2015 and today we have 900 flights in twenty four hours,' said the Head of Office to Control the Country's Air Space Hossein Jaafari-Khorrami while addressing an air traffic seminar.
Jaafari-Korrami who was addressing the Nationwide Seminar on Modern Trainings in Air Traffic Management said that from 1996 to 2014 the flights through Iranian air speace increased from 200,000 per year to 550,000.
