Uzbeks have today felt tremors from an earthquake, which earlier hit Tajikistan.
The earthquake was felt by the residents of the Uzbek capital of Tashkent and other cities throughout the country at 12:50 local time (UTC/GMT +5 hours).
The European Mediterranean Seismological Centre has said the tremors measured 7.2 on the Richter scale at the earthquake’s epicenter in Tajikistan.
The tremors in Tashkent measured three points, according to the “Tashkent” Seismological Station.
The tremors in Tashkent were felt for several minutes.
