Electronic service of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (MCHT) has facilitated the work of citizens who want to have phones installed.
According to electronic news service ICTnews, until now the service “Installation of new telephone lines” has been used 7294 times through e-Government portal (e-gov.az) so far.
The service is currently active in Baku city (coverage area of BTCPA).
By completing an online application form on e-Government portal and making payment online, citizens can order the service of installation of phones within a few minutes, and even can choose any numbers on the screen. The telephone will be installed within 2-3 days after the acceptance of order.
Phone installation fee is AZN 30. The citizen willl have to pay additional fees if he chooses numbers.
Remind that within “The month of improving the quality of communication services” until December 20, one of two new phones to be installled in a home at the same time will be free, one of three phones to be installed in an organization at the same time will be registered free of charge.
