Electricity supply has been resumed to some apartments in Nardaran township of Baku, head of the public relations department of Azerishig JSC Tanriverdi Mustafayev told Trend Dec.8.

He noted that smart counters have been installed in several apartments in Nardaran.

After the users loaded money on the new counter, the electricity supply to their apartments was resumed, he said.

Mustafayev said that a special headquarters has been created to resolve the electricity supply problem in Nardaran.

“The users can appeal to this headquarters for electricity supply issues,” he said. “An individual contract will be signed with each user, after which a counter will be installed in his apartment.”

On November 27, electricity supply was cut off in Nardaran. Azerishyg JSC stated that the power outage in the village is due to the debts of subscribers.

The total electricity debt of residents of Nardaran settlement is 42.267 million manats.
