“Vietnam backs the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan and according to international legal norms,” said member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and chairman of the committee`s Commission for External Relations Hoang Binh Quan as he met with deputy Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party, chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Mubariz Gurbanli.
They discussed relations between the ruling parties of the two countries, as well as cooperation between Azerbaijan and Vietnam in political, economic, trade, investment, tourism and humanitarian fields. They agreed to strengthen relations between the ruling parties and continue reciprocal visits.
Mr. Gurbanli invited a delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam to visit Azerbaijan next year.
