The design of the two-seat airplane has been completed, Fathollah Ommi, head of Iran's Aerospace Research Institute said.
He added that currently, work is underway on expanding the manufacturing of such planes, iribnews.ir reported.
Iranian government has created a working group for conducting aerospace research, said Ommi.
The working group will implement 60 projects in the country, he said adding that these projects are for conducting researches in the sphere of manufacturing unmanned aerial vehicles, light and heavy aircraft.
Ommi noted that work is underway on manufacturing 4-and 6-seat aircraft as well.
