Iran’s sanctions will be removed soon and removal of anti-Iranian embargos will enhance Tehran ties with the world, First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri said.
Speaking at the 20th anniversary of Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan, Jahangiri said that Iran has answered accusations against its nuclear program and its sanctions will be removed in near future, the official IRNA news agency reported Dec. 12.
Jahangiri called Iran’s stance in nuclear talks as logical, adding that the sanctions against Iran were illegal and unfair.
He added that both Iran and Turkmenistan’s presidents are keen to expand bilateral relations.
Jahangiri noted that terrorism is spreading around the region and interference of outside powers have complicated the situation.
If the international communities do not get united against terrorism, it should expect unpredictable damages, he added.
The official said that development of ties with the neighbors is Iran’s top priority and Iran is ready to expand ties with all regional states in particular Turkmenistan to enhance regional stability.
Turkmenistan celebrated 20th anniversary of Permanent Neutrality in the presence of delegates from around 70 countries, including Iran.
