The US and Russia can effectively cooperate despite the disagreements between them, the US Secretary of State John Kerry said Dec.15, RIA Novosti reported.
He made the remarks during the talks with Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow.
The United States and Russia agree that the IS terrorist group (ISIL, ISIS, or Daesh) is a common threat for all countries and negotiations with it cannot be held, said Kerry.
Lavrov for his part noted that the Syrian settlement requires constant attention with regard to the goals that were set at two rounds of group talks in Vienna.
