By Maksim Tsurkov – Trend:

The licenses for the sale of compressed natural gas (CNG) by Socar Turkey LNG Satıs AS in two Turkish points of sale will be restored, SOCAR told Trend Dec. 18.

The licenses will be issued for the CNG sale for each point separately, the company said.

"The Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Turkey put forward the requirement to Socar Turkey LNG Satıs AS to obtain a permit to operate in each point of sale and create jobs there until March 18, 2015,” SOCAR said. “The licenses for CNG sale at these points were canceled at the request of Socar Turkey LNG Satıs AS because the necessary labor protection certificates were not ready for the CNG points of sale in the cities of Gemlik and Eskisehir.”

The licenses will be restored after the company prepares the labour protection certificates.

"It was reported that the licenses were canceled because of the problems with the official documents,” SOCAR said. “But this information is wrong. The licenses for CNG sale in other points of sale are valid. The company carries out the sale transactions there."

Earlier, the Energy Market Regulatory Authority annulled the licenses of Socar Turkey LNG Satıs AS for the CNG sale in two cities of Turkey.
