The youth who live in the southeastern part of Turkey have become the target of the terrorist PKK organization, Turkey’s prime minister said on Sunday in Ankara, Anadolu Agency reported.
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu spoke during the fourth general congress of the Justice and Development (AK) Party’s youth branch in Ankara Arena Hall.
“The terrorist organization and some political circles which are controlled by the terrorist organization have instilled hate speech to surround the youth,” he said.
"The children and youth aged 8 through 17, who need to go to school, are given Molotov cocktails in their hands,” he claimed.
He also said that the PKK also ordered the youth to fire at their schools and attack security forces.
Turkish army said security operations launched against the terrorist PKK organization in southeast will continue "until public security is established".
The PKK -- considered a terrorist organization also by the U.S. and the EU -- resumed its armed campaign in late July. Since then, more than 200 members of the security forces have been martyred and over 1,700 PKK terrorists killed.
