A conference titled "For new targets" has been organized by the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) in Baku.
The conference participants included state and government officials, MPs, representatives of the general public.
In his opening remarks, Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov drew the audience`s attention to the year's significant events in the country. Ahmadov singled out the parliamentary elections, highlighting YAP`s victory. “It is people`s love for chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party, President Ilham Aliyev, their support of his policy, and high political rankings of the head of state that made this win possible.”
President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Akif Alizade noted that thanks to President Ilham Aliyev's consistent and purposeful policy carried out for more than a decade, Azerbaijan strengthened its strategic position in the international arena, and became the regional leader.
Minister of Agriculture Heydar Asadov highlighted the accomplishments in the agricultural sector.
