Azerbaijan will assist Tajikistan which was hit by a strong earthquake, said the website of the country’s Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The country will send humanitarian aid valued at 800,000 manats to the disaster zone in accordance to the instructions of Azerbaijan’s president.
A strong earthquake that hit Tajikistan’s Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region Dec.7, 2015, led to human loss and destruction.
Tajikistan’s government appealed to Azerbaijani government asking for humanitarian aid to overcome the consequences of the natural disaster.
