Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan said that in order to increase the country's effective deterrence, its missile capability would develop in the shortest possible time, IRNA reported.
He said that since the beginning of nuclear talks between Iran and Group 5+1, Iranian officials have underlined that defensive issues related to country's security were not negotiable.
Dehqan said that Iran as an independent country is an element of stability and a pioneer in the fight against extremism and terrorism and its moves guarantee stability and security of the region.
General Dehqan underlined that if Group 5+1 member countries do not respect their commitments and ventures violate JCPOA, no doubt their move will stop implementation of JCPOA.
He said that President Hassan Rouhani recently underlined that Iran does not negotiate its defensive capability and takes decision upon its national interests and goals and if necessity the country's defensive power will be developed.
The minister said that Iran will optimize its ballistic missiles in different dimensions.
