Iran has shipped the majority of its enriched uranium stockpile out of the country in compliance with the terms of the Iran nuclear agreement, US Secretary of State John Kerry said in a Thursday press conference.
Kerry explained that in one shipment, “Iran literally shipped out its capacity currently to build a nuclear weapon.”
“Iran has shipped overseas most of its stockpile of enriched uranium,” Kerry said, noting that it was removed from Iran on a Russian vessel for conversion into non-weapons grade material.
