One of the cars derailed and overturned in the subway of the Turkish city of Izmir, leaving more than 10 injured, the Turkish newspaper Sabah reported Jan. 8.
The accident occurred as the train’s head car collided with a truck on the above-ground part of the subway line.
There are above-ground subway lines in a number of major cities of Turkey.
Rescuers and ambulances have arrived at the scene. The injured were taken to the nearest hospitals.
