A criminal case under Articles 134 (threat to kill or cause grievous bodily harm) and 214-2 (open calls for terrorism) with regard to Azerbaijani citizen Inglab Karimov living in France has been initiated, the press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan told Trend.

The case was initiated in connection with the fact that Karimov was demonstrating a gun at a photo published on his page in Facebook and media outlets, and was threatening individual citizens of Azerbaijan with physical violence and murder in the comments to this photo, as well as in connection with his open calls for terrorist organization “Islamic State” to carry out terrorist activities in Azerbaijan.
Currently, the Investigation Department for Grave Crimes of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan is carrying out the necessary operational and investigative activities, Karimov was brought to investigation as a suspect under these articles and was declared wanted.
