Iran will commission the Qazvin-Rasht railway in 2017, Mohsen Purseyid Agai, the head of the Iranian railways, said Jan. 12.
“The construction of the Rasht-Astara railway will begin in 2016 and finish in 2019,” he said. “These railways are part of the North-South rail corridor.”
