Changes occurred in the shareholder structure of Texnikabank OJSC, according to which a control packet of shares is now owned by the chairman of the bank’s supervisory board Etibar Aliyev, said the message of the bank Jan.13.
To date, the bank's shares are distributed as follows: Etibar Aliyev owns 87.06 percent of shares, Allahverdi Damirov - 4.9 percent, Mirfalah Jabbarov - 8.04 percent.
The authorized capital of the bank is 75.1 million manats.
Texnikabank operates in Azerbaijan since 1994 (it was called Rashadbank then).
Until 2007, it was a 100-percent Azerbaijani bank. Then, the World Wines company, which owned 75 percent of the shares, became the bank's majority shareholder. Until now, the bank's shareholders comprised of Beaufort Investissements S.A investment company [head office is located in Luxembourg] with interest of 78.4421 percent, while 21.5579 percent belonged to individuals.
