The joint event on was held in Slovenia in accordance with the bilateral cooperation plan between the defense ministries of Azerbaijan and Slovenia for 2016.
The aim of the event is to promote Azerbaijan, bring to a wider audience the regional security situation and Azerbaijan’s realities, as well as to strengthen friendly relations between the Armed Forces of both countries.
The head of the international military cooperation department of Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry, Major General Huseyn Mahmudov, given a lecture on “Azerbaijan’s vision into the threats to the security of the South Caucasus” at the Centre of Military Schools (CMS) of the Slovenian Armed Forces on May 3.
He also informed about the Armenian-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and its aftermath.
