The women’s volleyball team “Telekom”, which took the second place in Azerbaijan Championship, will continue its participation in the European Cup competitions held during the 2016-2017 Volleyball Season.
Thus, the “Telecom” team will take part in the regular season of the 2017 CEV Champions League. To achieve the goals set for the new season, a two-season contract was signed with the Serbian chief coach Zoran Gajic.
It is worth mentioning that, given the growing interest in volleyball among the citizens of Azerbaijan, the “Telecom” team plans to create a volleyball school for children with the aim of promoting healthy lifestyle and further publicizing the sport in the country.
