The student of Tomsk Polytechnic University have developed a robot, able to patch up the road well. This was reported on the website of the Federal portal “Russian education”.
 
Developer traffic robot says that the device is working offline. Although human presence is still desirable. “A robot with a camera finds a hole, drove up to her, scans the ultrasonic sensor and builds a depth map, and then falls asleep pit special emulsion”, — explained the project author Vsevolod Races.
 
Soon the robot will undergo a trial operation. A working prototype of the robot may appear in a year or two.
