An airbase of the Belarusian Air Force will soon get new helicopters Mi-8 MTV-5 and four trainer aircrafts Yak-130, Belarusian news agency BELTA reported quoting the country’s Defense Ministry. According to the ministry, the improvement of the aviation system of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces should be based on global trends, the creation and improvement of weapons and military equipment as part of the construction plan and development of the Armed Forces until 2020. "In 2015, Belarus got new combat and training aircrafts Yak-130 and ten MiG-29 aircrafts have earlier been repaired following the President’s instructions,” the ministry said.
