The European People's Party (EPP) has hailed a referendum to make amendments to Azerbaijan`s constitution.
Speaking at a press conference, EPP Vice Chair Mario David said the voting was held in a free manner and met best international standards. He said the voting fully reflected the will of the Azerbaijani people.
David said an observation mission of EPP included 11 members, who have a rich experience of monitoring elections in different countries. He added that the mission visited polling stations both yesterday and today.
