Some 101 state property units will be put up for privatization as part of an auction to be held by the Azerbaijani State Committee on Property Issues on November 1, the committee said in a message Oct. 3.
23 of the enterprises put up for the auction are locate in Baku and various districts of Azerbaijan, and 30-45 percent of shares of the controlling stake in the authorized capital of these enterprises, that is open stock companies are subject to privatization. These enterprises locate in Baku, Mingachevir, as well as Neftchala, Astara, Absheron, Yevlakh, Khachmaz, Kurdemir and other districts, and operate in various sectors of economy including chemistry, industry, construction, transport, services, etc.
