Minister of Internal Affairs of Iran Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli has expressed an interest in maintaining active cooperation with Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Emergency Situations. “There are favourable opportunities for the expansion of bilateral cooperation,” he told Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov as they met in Baku.
Heydarov told about measures to prevent emergency situations and eliminate their consequences in Azerbaijan. He hailed “growing” cooperation with Iran’s emergency situations authorities. Minister Heydarov emphasized that meetings between heads of emergency situations bodies will contribute to the bilateral cooperation.
After the meeting the Iranian minister toured the Crisis Management and Operation halls of the ministry’s Crisis Management Center.
