There are plans to transport part of oil from Kazakhstan's giant Kashagan field in the Caspian Sea via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline to the European Union member countries, said Azerbaijani Energy Minister Natig Aliyev.
ENI, INPEX, Conoco Phillips and Total, which have a 15 per cent stake at BTC, are also involved in Kashagan project. “The companies will be able to transport 150,000 tons of oil per day," he added.
