Germany keep their spotless qualifying record for the 2018 World Cup as coach Joachim Loew maintains the intensity but also starts looking ahead to the finals in Russia.
Loew wants the team to keep up the intensity in the coming months which also includes a March 26 trip to currently second-placed Azerbaijan.
Title holders Germany are enjoying their best-ever start to a qualifying campaign which allows coach Joachim Loew to pursue a dual strategy in the run-up to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Germany added an easy 2-0 over Northern Ireland on Tuesday to Saturday's 3-0 against the Czech Republic and an opening 3-0 in Norway last month - the first time a German team has won three opening qualifiers without conceding a goal.
The streak is expected to continue on November 11 when Die Mannschaft play their last qualifier of the year at minnows San Marino.
Loew said he may rest some of his stars in November and at the Confederations Cup, which would give youngsters like Leroy Sane, Julian Brandt and Max Meyer - with the under-21 team over the past days - a chance to return to the first team, and others to debut there.
The past two games in Hamburg and Hanover confirmed an utterly dominant Germany team which was more deadly in the area than in the stuttering qualifying campaign for Euro 2016 and the tournament in France itself, where they went out in the semi-finals against the hosts.
"It is a fact that we have reached an unbelievable dominance in our system, that we are able to play against an opponent the way we have to. And on the other hand our game is variable," Loew said.
