Azerbaijan`s Deputy Prime Minister Ali Ahmadov has met Director General of the General Customs Administration of Senegal Papa Ousmane Gueye.

The Deputy Premier highlighted the importance of such meetings in terms of developing ties between the two countries. Mr. Ahmadov spoke about the independence history of the country, adding Azerbaijan passed great development way across past 25 years.

Ali Ahmadov said there was great potential for cooperation between the two countries. “Azerbaijan was interested in establishing relations with foreign countries, as well as with Senegal,” he added.

On cooperation in the field of customs, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed assurance that relations would be developed with Senegal in relevant sphere.

Director General of the General Customs Administration of Senegal Papa Ousmane Gueye, in turn, highlighted his meetings held in Baku. He thanked the state of Azerbaijan for care and attention aimed to strengthen cooperation between the relevant bodies of both countries. The Director General expressed hope that relations between the two countries would be further developed.
