The second Azerbaijani-Turkish Oncology Days have today kicked off in Baku. Co-organized by the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology and the National Center of Oncology of Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Health, the event addresses several topics, including oncological diseases and the challenges faced by modern oncology.
In his remarks at the congress, first Deputy Director General of the National Center of Oncology Aziz Aliyev expressed hope that the event will be a success.
Head of the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology Ahmet Ozet said the congress aims to provide a platform for establishing relations between Azerbaijani and Turkish oncologists, exchanging experience and discussing the latest achievements in the field of oncology.
The two countries` experts shared experience in diagnosing, treating and preventing oncological diseases.
