Azerbaijan`s Embassy to Malaysia has opened the country`s pavilion at the 7th Muslim World Business and Investment Zone exhibition in Kuala Lumpur. The pavilion marks the 25th anniversary of the restoration of Azerbaijan`s state independence. It displays materials, booklets and magazines highlighting Azerbaijan`s development during the years of independence, the country`s tourism potential, economic growth, investment climate and export products. The pavilion also provides an insight into projects carried out by Azerbaijan, and numerous international events hosted by the country in the years of independence.
Visitors to the pavilion were informed of Azerbaijan`s achievements, national leader Heydar Aliyev`s outstanding role in protecting the country`s independence, and political reforms carried out by President Ilham Aliyev.
Organized by the International Business Centre of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the exhibition features more than 350 companies from 30 countries, occupying 500 booths, as well as more than 15,000 public and trade visitors.
