The fourth generation mobile network has been commissioned in Nakhchivan. Addressing the event, Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov congratulated the event participants and the city residents on the event, press service of the Supreme Assembly told AZERTAC.
He said that Nakhchivan's Ministry of Communication and New Technologies has signed an agreement with China's Huawey Technologies Company on the installation of the fourth generation mobile communication system in the Autonomous Republic.
Vasif Talibov thanked those who contributed to the establishment of the mobile communications network.
Speaking at the event, Minister of Communication and New Technologies Rovshan Mammadov hailed Nakhchivan`s achievements in the field of communication and new technologies.
Nakhchivan's Minister of Economy Famil Seyidov highlighted the new technologies in the sector of economy of the Autonomous Republic.
President of Huawey's business group on operator networks on Central Asia and the Caucasus Zhang Dong Liang praised the efficient partnership between the company and Nakhchivan's Ministry of Communication and New Technologies. He hailed the development of new technologies in the Autonomous Republic.
Speaking at the event, president of Azercell Telecom Limited Liability Company Vahid Mursaliyev hailed the importance of communication and new technologies in the development of the non-oil sector.
Turk Telekom's Sales Department Manager for Turkey and the Caucasus Armagan Karaege, chairman of the board of "Akgun Yazilim" company Temel Akgun and CEO of "I2I" company Ayhan Kapusuz made speeches at the event.
Chairman of the Supreme Assembly then viewed the conditions created in the mobile network. Vasif Talibov launched the 4th generation mobile communication network in the central control room.
The event then featured a congratulatory message of senior vice- president of Huawey co. Amy Lin.
Vasif Talibov gave relevant instructions on efficient use of the fourth generation mobile network capabilities and increasing the number of services provided.
