Tunisia is hosting the First ISESCO Conference of Education Ministers. Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev attends the conference as President of the 12th General Conference of ISESCO.
Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Madani, ISESCO Director General Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, as well as Tunisian officials attended the opening ceremony.
Addressing the event, Garayev highlighted the role of education and culture in strengthening cooperation and solidarity among Islamic countries. He hailed cooperation between Azerbaijan and ISESCO in the field of education and culture.
On the sidelines of the two-day conference, Garayev will hold meetings with the management of OIC and ISESCO and ministers of the member states.
