Azerbaijan`s Prime Minister Artur Rasizade has met Rodrigo Maia, the president of Brazil’s Chamber of Deputies.

Mr. Rasizade praised cooperation between Azerbaijan and Brazil, adding there were great opportunities for expanding economic ties.

The Premier said this visit would contribute to developing ties between the two countries. Mr. Rasizade thanked the Government of Brazil for supporting Azerbaijan`s just position in settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan , Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Rodrigo Maia, in turn, said they were interested in deepening beneficial cooperation with Azerbaijan in economic and cultural fields.

The President stressed the importance of solving the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the norms of international law, as well as on the base of principles of borders` inviolability and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
