Date: 8 December 2016 16:34A group of researchers from the UK have developed a polymeric material that can make batteries much more efficient than solution-based electrolyte, due to the greater density. The capacity of such batteries will increase to 10 thousand times, and charging speed will be measured in minutes, not in hours. This achievement of science can be used for instant charging smartphones and electric vehicles that will be able to place much larger distances on a single charge.
