A bottle house in Azerbaijan`s Khachmaz district is a favourite spot for having a rest for local and foreign tourists coming here.
Balahmad Khanbalayev, 75, the owner of the house, says it took him four years to build this unusual structure. “I used 60,000 bottles to build it. All the structures in the yard are also made of bottles.”
Khanbalayev says that in winter he rents the house to both local and foreign tourists at a price of 20 or 30 manats (approximately $17) per day, which is lower than in summer months.
The house is heated by a wood-burning stove.
