Azerbaijan is a country that is strategically important for the region, said commander of the US Transportation Command, Air Force General Darren McDew.
The US official also said, as part of his meetings, he discussed the long-term interstate cooperation and what this cooperation would look like decades later.
Darren McDew also touched upon the peace talks within the OSCE Minsk Group: “The US fully supports the peace process established by the OSCE Minsk Group,” he added.
