The Scottish Day dedicated to the 258th anniversary of poet and lyricist Robert Burns has been held at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).
The event brought together representatives of embassies in Baku.
Addressing the event, rector Elmar Gasimov stressed the importance of relations between Azerbaijan and United Kingdom.
The rector noted that BHOS signed a cooperation agreement with Scotland’s Heriot-Watt University.
The event featured performance of Scottish folk dances and music.
